I recently purchased the Elevate V3, and here are my thoughts.
* Definitely a control-oriented racquet and you must produce your own power. I have a fast swing, so I like the control aspects of the racquet.
* IMO, it's not as muted as other people have mentioned. I have played with Blades for years, and the v6 Blade is much more muted.
* The top of the frame has zero power so you better keep the ball in the sweet spot or on the lower portion of the stringbed.
* I agree with other reviews that this racquet has a low launch angle. I'm currently leaving balls short in the court, which is allowing my opponents to tee off. I'll adjust to this change.
* Serve. It's a work in progress, and I'll adjust over time.
* Grip shape is very much like old Head racquets. More oblong than rounded. At first, I didn't like it, but I really like the grip shape now.
All in all, a very good racquet. I will continue to play with and might use my Blades as a backup.
