I am 75 years of age and play doubles 80% of the time. I enjoyed trying out the Nova V3 Tour DEMO and have purchased it. The main reasons that I am replacing my 2022 version of the Head Extreme MP are that the Diadem is better to serve with and more maneuverable in midcourt and at the net. Strung the V3 Tour is ten points headlight and thus whips quickly through the air on serves and groundstrokes. The increased racquet head speed accordingly made for an additional five to ten miles an hour on my serve without changing my service motion. The lighter balance also made it easier to pick up balls on the half volley or on approach shots in the middle of the court on the way to net. The only downside is that on volleys you have to really concentrate on laying your wrist back so as to not let the tip of the racquet flop over, break the plane at contact and send the ball down into the net or short into the opponent's court. But this adjustment can be made with practice. The racquet has a very nice feel on impact. It is also attractive in appearance. Singles players will want to add weight to the head of the frame to allow for more plow through on groundstrokes.
