Daniel is a 9-time national champion and professional pickleball player whose journey began long before pickleball entered his life. After playing collegiate tennis at Azusa Pacific University and living in Kenya, Daniel was introduced to pickleball in 2014 by his father, who told him:
“This is your only chance to become a national champion.”
The rest is history.
After working as a travel guide in Japan, Pickleball Trips was born from a simple but powerful idea:
Take pickleball players to world-class destinations and build community through sport.
Daniel has since:

Daniel currently lives in Japan, where he owns Active Travel Japan, an outdoor travel business, and spends his free time snowboarding and hiking through Japan’s incredible mountains.
